PSL 10 remaining matches shifted to UAE
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Friday that the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 will be moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the current situation in the region.
In a short statement, the PCB confirmed that all eight remaining games—including the playoffs and final—will now take place in the UAE. Details about the updated schedule and venues will be shared later.
“The PCB confirms that the remaining fixtures of HBL PSL X have been shifted to the UAE,” the board stated.
“The new schedule, with exact dates and venues, will be announced in due course,” it added.
Earlier, the 27th match of the season between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings, which was supposed to be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, had to be rescheduled.
The decision to move the matches was taken as a safety precaution, with officials focusing on protecting everyone involved.
Fans who bought tickets for the Rawalpindi game will be given refunds. Those with VIP Gallery and enclosure tickets can collect their refunds from designated TCS Express Centres. People who bought tickets online will automatically get their money back in their original accounts.
As PSL 10 heads into its final stages, only four league matches and four playoff games are left.
Quetta Gladiators have already booked a place in the playoffs, topping the points table with six wins, two losses, and one no result from nine games.
Karachi Kings are in second place with 10 points after five wins and three losses in eight matches. Defending champions Islamabad United are third, also on 10 points, with five wins and four losses in nine games.
Lahore Qalandars sit in fourth with nine points from four wins, four losses, and one no result. Peshawar Zalmi are fifth with eight points, having won four of their nine matches.
Multan Sultans are out of the playoff race after winning just once and losing eight of their nine games.
