
Pakistan Squad For Rising Star Asia Cup 2025
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled a 15-member squad for the Pakistan Shaheens, who will feature in the Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, set to be held in Qatar from November 14 to 23.
Middle-order batter Muhammad Irfan Khan has been named captain of the young side for the eight-team T20 event.
Pakistan Shaheens are drawn in Group B alongside Oman, India ‘A’, and UAE, while Group A consists of Afghanistan ‘A’, Bangladesh ‘A’, Sri Lanka ‘A’, and Hong Kong.
The Shaheens will open their campaign against Oman on November 14, before facing arch-rivals India ‘A’ on November 16, and rounding off their group stage against UAE on November 18 — all matches scheduled at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha.
As per the format, the top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals on November 21, with the final slated for November 23.
Ahead of their departure to Qatar on November 12, the squad will undergo a training camp from November 8 to 11 at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Centre in Karachi.
