Babar & Rizwan Makes The History Against England in Karachi

Karachi: In the second T20 match of the series, Pakistan beat England by 10 wickets while chasing a target of 200 runs, captain Babar Azam scored his second T20i career century.

Pakistani openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan made a record partnership of 203 runs, captain Babar Azam scored 110 runs and wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan remained unbeaten with 88 runs. The national team’s openers dominated the English bowlers from the start of the match.

Babar Azam became the first Pakistani to score two centuries in T20Is, while earlier he played an innings of 122 runs against South Africa in 2021.

Pakistan has won by 10 wickets for the second time in T20. Earlier, Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets in the 2021 T20 World Cup.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have broken their own record of partnership in the second innings of T20. Captain Babar Azam also completed his 8000 runs in 218 T20 innings while Chris Gayle of West Indies did this feat in 213 innings.
