BCCI Announced Team India’s Squad For T20 Worldcup 2022
The 15-Man Squad For The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 has Been Announced By The BCCI. India’s squad for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which will begin on October 16 in Australia, has finally been revealed. The 15-person team will be led by Rohit Sharma.
Last time around, Team India was one of the favourites to take home the championship. However, they dropped the pivotal opener against Pakistan, which ultimately made it tough for them to recover. They will be using a stronger batting lineup, and Virat Kohli’s return to form is a source of relief.
Ravindra Jadeja, who suffered an injury during the recently finished Asia Cup 2022, will be missed by India. India’s pace bowling attack got exposed in the Asia Cup, but the return of Bumrah and Harshal Patel is expected to give strength to the pace attack.
India performed poorly and were eliminated before reaching the 2022 Asian Cup final. They would have spotted their mistakes and would have certainly worked out the necessary strategies to adapt to the marquee event.
Team India have six T20 games left (three each against Australia and South Africa) ahead of the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup, which will help them improve their strategy. All in all, I believe this team can do better in the upcoming 2022 ICC T20 World Cup as long as they play cricket fearlessly and wisely and don’t panic in critical situations.
