Ben Stokes Returns To ODI Cricket

Ben Stokes comes out of retirement to play this year’s ODI World Cup in India, the England Cricket Board announced the 15-member squad for the ODI series against New Zealand.

Ben Stokes is included in the ODI squad while Jos Buttler will be the captain of the team.

The 4-match ODI series between England and New Zealand will begin on September 8.

It should be noted that the British media report revealed yesterday that Ben Stokes retired from ODI cricket last year is now willing to take back his retirement for the World Cup.

According to the British media, Stokes may withdraw his retirement after being asked by England white ball cricket team captain Jos Buttler.

The report said that Ben Stokes could bat in the middle order if he withdraws from retirement, joining the team as a regular batsman.

According to the British media, Stokes may miss the next IPL season to recover from a knee injury.

Keep in mind that ICC One Day World Cup will be held in India in October this year, England cricket team will defend the title.
