Muhammad Hafeez, while speaking on the World Cup special show of the PTV Sports, raised questions on Babar Azam’s Captaincy and said that ‘we are made a sacred cow here that we cannot talk about it.

He said that Babar’s captaincy flaws have been seen in the third consecutive big match and we say that at the age of 32 he will learn. He said that, if you are the captain, you have to take responsibility, you can’t say that I am learning. Last year We lost the semi-final of the World Cup.

Hafeez said that even in today’s match, when the Indian batsmen were playing slowly from 7 to 11 overs, why Nawaz’s overs were not completed at that time? Why was his last over saved? How could you make such a big mistake? He said that we could have won a very important match against India but due to mistakes we lost.

It should be noted that in the Super 12 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup, India defeated Pakistan after a sensational match. Chasing the target of 160 runs, India needed 16 runs in the last over against Pakistan, bowled by Mohammad Nawaz, in which India completed the target on the last ball and won by 4 wickets.
