Pakistan To Face England in T20 Series From Tomorrow

Karachi: The cricket teams of Pakistan and England will face each other in the first T20 International match tomorrow at the National Stadium.

Four matches of the 7 T20 series will be held in Karachi and three in Lahore, the preparations for the series have been completed and the trophy has been unveiled today.

England team captain Jos Buttler will not be able to participate in the matches in Karachi due to injury, while Moin Ali will take over the captaincy duties.

Captain Moeen Ali says that maybe Buttler will be available for the team for the last two matches.

The Green Shirts, on the other hand, are hopeful of overpowering their opponents in home conditions.

Head to head

According to the statistics, a total of 21 T20 matches have been played between England and Pakistan so far, out of which England has won 13 matches, while the Green Shirts have won only 6 matches and one match was inconclusive.

The 2015 match in Sharjah was won by England in a super over after a tie.

Two new players Amir Jamal and Abrar Ahmed have been included in the Pakistan team playing Asia Cup, but whether they get a chance in the playing XI or not will be decided before the toss.

The first match of the series between the two teams will be played at the National Stadium Karachi. The match will start at 7:30 PM. The gate money of the first match has been announced by PCB to help flood victims.
