PCB Appoints Forgein Coaches For Quaid-e-Azam Trophy

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has hired foreign coaches for two domestic teams ahead of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

According to “Geo News” , the two coaches from England, Paul Nixon and Paul Franks, will coach the regional teams in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy will start from Tuesday at various centers across the country.

Sources say that Paul Franks, who played an ODI match for England, will be the head coach of Central Punjab, Paul Franks is currently the assistant coach of the county team Nottinghamshire, he has reached Pakistan to fulfill his duties.

Bilal Shafayat, who coached Nottinghamshire along with Paul Franks, will also join Central Punjab, he has been appointed fielding coach, Bilal Shafayat coaches the age group at Nottinghamshire.

Another experienced English cricketer and head coach of Leicestershire County Paul Nixon will coach the Sindh team, Paul Nixon has represented England in 19 ODI matches and one T20 match. He has also played more than three and a half hundred first-class matches.

Sources said that the coaches who were already working with the regional teams, Abdul Razzaq and Ghulam Ali, will also continue in their posts and be part of the coaching staff.

PCB is also hiring four more foreign coaches for various coaching staff positions.
