PM Made High Profile Committee For World Cup

In the ICC World Cup 2023 scheduled in India, a high-profile committee has been established regarding the participation of the national cricket team in the World Cup.

According to reports, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has established a high-profile committee to take the final decision regarding the participation of the Pakistani team in the mega event in World Cup 2023. The committee will be headed by forgein minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Ehsan Mazari, Maryam Aurangzeb, Asad Mahmood, Aminul Haq, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Tariq Fatemi are included.

Sources says that the committee will make recommendations on all matters related to the World Cup in India, while the decision to participate in the World Cup will be made based on the recommendations of the committee.

Sources further said that the final recommendations will be sent to the Prime Minister for approval, after which the decision regarding the participation of the national team will come out.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made the national team’s participation in the World Cup subject to government permission.

It should be noted that the mega event will start from October 5, Pakistan will begin their journey in the World Cup with a match against Qualifier One in Hyderabad on October 6.

According to the schedule, Pakistan will face Qualifier Two on October 12, while the match between arch-rivals Pakistan and India will be held on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The match between Pakistan and Australia is scheduled for October 20 in Bengaluru, and on October 23, Pakistan and Afghanistan will face each other in Chennai. The national team will play South Africa on October 27 and Bangladesh on October 31.

The Green Shirts will face Pakistan and New Zealand in Bengaluru on November 5, while the national team will play England in Kolkata on November 12.

The first semi-final of the World Cup will be held in Mumbai, the second in Kolkata, and the final will be played in Narendra Modi, Ahmedabad on November 19.
