Rehan Ahmed To Become Youngest To Play Test Cricket For England

The young leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed is likely to make debut for England in the three-Test series against Pakistan.

The three-Test series between Pakistan and England is starting from December 1 and the first match between the two teams will be played in Rawalpindi.

Leicestershire leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed is also included in the England squad and is currently 18 years and 102 days old. He can become the youngest player to make test debut for England.

In this regard, England head coach Brendon McCullum says that we feel that Rehan is not ready to play Test Cricket on his full potential but Ben Stokes, myself and other coaches like his thinking.

Brendon McCullum added that being a part of the squad for the series against Pakistan will also benefit Rehan Ahmed a lot in the future and he will be a part of our squad going forward.

Remember that the England team is coming to play a Test series in Pakistan for the first time since 2005, after the attack on the Sri Lankan team in Lahore in 2009, the doors of international cricket were closed in Pakistan.
