Tri Series To Begin From October
Christchurch: The trophy for the tri-series between Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh was unveiled.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared the trophy photos of the tri-series on its official Twitter account, in which captain Babar Azam, Kiwi captain Kane Williamson and acting Bangladesh captain Noorul Hasan can be seen. The three captains were photographed with the trophy at various locations in Christchurch.
Earlier, the national team arrived in Christchurch on Tuesday to participate in the tri-nation series. Pakistan will play its first match against Bangladesh on October 7. At the end of the tri-series, the national team will arrive in Australia to participate in the T20 World Cup starting from October 16.
On the other hand, despite the World Cup coming to a head, New Zealand has failed to form the most suitable XI so far. The series of experiments will continue in the scheduled home T20 triangular series with Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The first match of the series will be played between the visiting sides in Christchurch on Friday.
