Zaka Ashraf Takes The Charge Of PCB
Lahore: Zaka Ashraf, takes the charge of new chairman of the management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
After assuming charge, Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf arrived at the PCB headquarters, where Zaka Ashraf was received by senior officials of the board.
The paperwork for Zaka Ashraf to take charge has been completed and he was also seen mingling with PCB employees on the occasion.
Zaka Ashraf will chair the meeting of the new management committee today.
The first meeting of the PCB’s new management committee will be held at the National Cricket Academy in which the future strategy of the cricket board will be decided.
It should be noted that the new management committee of Pakistan Cricket Board has been formed for 4 months which will look after other matters including ICC of the board.
PCB’s management committee consists of 10 members including Kaleemullah Khan, Ashfaq Akhtar, Mossadegh Islam, Azmat Parvez, Zaheer Abbas, Khurram Soomro, Khawaja Nadeem, Mustafa Ramde and Zulfiqar Malik.
It should be noted that before Zaka Ashraf, the affairs of Pakistan Cricket Board were being managed by Najam Sethi, however Pakistan People’s Party suggested the name of Zaka Ashraf for the Chairman PCB.
