Zaka Rejects The Hybdrid Model For Asia Cup

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party leader and nominated chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Zaka Ashraf has said that Pakistan should host the full Asia Cup.

Zaka Ashraf while addressing the function at the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Ms. Benazir Bhutto said that I had already rejected the hybrid model.

He said that the Asian Cricket Council has given Pakistan the hosting of the Asia Cup, Pakistan should host the full Asia Cup, the important matches will be played outside and the matches of Nepal and Bhutan will be played in Pakistan.

Zaka Ashraf said that the hybrid model with Pakistan is an excess, I will try to improve the Pakistan Cricket Board. He said that there was a plan to build a cricket stadium in Islamabad, unfortunately the project could not go ahead, cricket unites the country, no unconstitutional work will be done.

Zaka Ashraf said that I am grateful for the trust given by the Prime Minister and Asif Zardari, the Asia Cup and the World Cup are coming and we have to prepare.
