BCCI Has Refused To Play Asia Cup On Hybrid Model

According to senior sports reporter Sohail Imran from Geo News, The Indian Cricket Board has denied reports that the ACC is adopting PCB’s hybrid model.

According to Indian media, BCCI has not agreed to play on the hybrid model, BCCI wants to shift the Asia Cup to a neutral venue.

According to media reports, the Indian Cricket Board wants the Asia Cup to be shifted to Sri Lanka, and currently the Indian Cricket Board has refused to play on PCB’s hybrid model.

President Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Jay Shah says that he will discuss with the members to prepare the future action plan of the Asia Cup.

It should be noted that the news had come out earlier that the Indian Cricket Board accepted the proposal of Pakistan’s hybrid model to participate in the Asia Cup cricket tournament.

Earlier Sources said that the Indian Cricket Board has agreed to play the Asia Cup under Pakistan’s hybrid model.

According to sources before, Indian Cricket Board Secretary Jay Shah has accepted PCB’s proposal, under the hybrid model, 4 matches of the Asia Cup will be held in Pakistan and the rest at neutral venues but has now been denied by the Indian Media.
