Fakhar Zaman Going To England For Knee Treatment

On Friday, Fakhar Zaman will fly to London to begin his recovery. During the ACC T20 Asia Cup final in Dubai, Fakhar stumbled while fielding and fell awkwardly on his right knee. The PCB has booked his doctor appointments with the specialists who will be giving him the best medical care for his rehabilitation in accordance with the rules.

The PCB will make all necessary logistical arrangements for Fakhar throughout his stay in London, and he will continue to be under the care of the PCB Advisory Panel, which includes Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad and Dr. Zafar Iqbal, who are also caring for Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Shaheen Shah Afridi is making excellent progress in his rehabilitation in London, and the PCB is happy to inform and provide an update on his progress. He is on track to fully recover in time for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Australia 2022.

It should go without saying that the PCB has always been and will remain in charge of arranging for the medical treatment and rehabilitation of all of its players who require it.
