Reason Behind Not Selecting Shoaib Malik

The chief selector of the national cricket team, Muhammad Wasim, has told thr reason that why all-rounder Shoaib Malik was not included in the national team squad for the T20 World Cup and against England.

While holding a press conference in Lahore yesterday, Mohammad Wasim announced the national squad for the series against England and the World Cup.

During the press conference, in the question and answer session, when Chief Selector Muhammad Wasim was asked about not including Shoaib Malik in the squad, he said that the preparations for the T20 World Cup in Australia will take place after the T20 World Cup in UAE. The players who are not appearing in the team during this period is a clear message that they have not played according to the conditions and the need of the team.

Mohammad Wasim said that we were on our track that the boys we had prepared and who are still walking with us and they have also won us matches, we had faith in them. It was not thought that we would bring someone into the team at the last minute like this.
