I Answer My Critics With Performance – Iftikhar Ahmed

Pakistan cricket team’s middle order batsman Iftikhar Ahmed says that criticism should be answered with your own performance.

Pakistan cricket team’s batsmen Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Haris and Wasim Jr had a conversation after getting a great win against South Africa in Sydney, the video of which was released by PCB.

Iftikhar Ahmed, who played a brilliant innings of 51 runs against South Africa, said that my job in the team is to stay on the wicket and play long innings when the wickets fall early, because there must be players in the team who can go long on such occasions. Play the innings and then finish, so even today i had to play a long innings. I also give credit to Shadab that he gave good support.

Iftikhar Ahmed said that unfortunately the Pakistan team lost against Zimbabwe but despite this the team is not out of the World Cup, they are still involved in the game and hopefully Pakistan will play the semi-final.

Muhammad Haris, who replaced Fakhar Zaman in the Pakistan team against South Africa, said that Rizwan’s wicket fell early, so he tried to take care of it and Babar Azam advised him to play bravely against the South African bowlers.

Haris scored 28 runs off 11 balls in the match, his innings included 3 sixes and 2 fours.

Apart from this, fast bowler Muhammad Wasim Jr. said that Shaheen Shah Afridi made a high comeback and provided a good start in the match, Naseem Shah also bowled well.

It should be noted that against South Africa, the national team scored 185 runs in the allotted 20 overs, Shadab played a brilliant innings of 52 runs off 22 balls. However, the South African team could score 108 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 14 overs.
