Not Thinking About Retirement At All – Shoaib Malik

Former captain Shoaib Malik has made a big prediction regarding the T20 World Cup.

During a conversation with media, Shoaib Malik said, “Thank God, I am working on fitness, I am fit. I am not thinking about retirement at all. The day I retire, I will announce it with an open heart.

He said that my job is to play cricket whenever there is an opportunity, I am ready to play, it is the committee’s job to select me or not, I have no problem with anyone, I am not against anyone.

In his advice to Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik said that the middle order needs to be backed, there are ups and downs in a game or in any event but the main thing is to stay united, after the event is over if there is any need to make change then it should be made.

The former captain said that Pakistan has been playing well in the T20 World Cup and still my heart is saying that the final will be between Pakistan and Australia, for which I pray that the final will be between Pakistan and Australia.

He said that our middle order needs to follow the way the best middle order in the world play, cricket is not a game of 4 sixes it requires rotation which is where I think our players need to learn.

Shoaib Malik said that after becoming the captain, I never forced Babar and I will never do it, I want to give Babar a place because I know that after becoming a captain, a person’s life becomes busy.

In response to a question, the former captain said, “I don’t want my son to play team games because I don’t want to see my son under stress, but if he wants to, I will support him but I will not recommend him.”
