Pakistan Shaheens in Final Of Emerging Asia Cup

Pakistan Shaheens defeated Sri Lanka A in the semi-finals of the Emerging Asia Cup and booked their place in the final.

In the semi-final played in Colombo, Pakistan Shaheens defeated Sri Lanka A by 60 runs. Pakistan batted first and scored 322/10 in aloted 50 overs. Batter Omair Bin Yousuf played brilliant innings of 88 while skipper Muhammad Haris also played cameo of 52 runs. All-rounder Mubasir Khan scored 48 runs.

Chasing a target of 323 runs, Sri Lanka A team was bowled out for 262 runs in the 46th over..mOn behalf of Pakistan Shaheens, Arshad Iqbal took five wickets for 37 runs, while Mubasir Khan and Sufian Moqim took two wickets and Amad Butt took one wicket.

Arshad Iqbal was declared the man of the match for his brilliant bowling.

On behalf of the host Sri Lanka, Oshka Fernando and Sahan Arachige played an innings of 97 and 97 runs, which went in vain.

In the second semi-final of the Emerging Asia Cup, the teams of India and Bangladesh are competing, whichever team wins will face Pakistan in the final….
