Pakistan Team Should Only Focus on Win – Shahid Afridi
Pakistan’s defeat to Zimbabwe and India’s defeat to South Africa have closed the way for the green shirts to reach the semi-finals to a large extent, but the situation is still in exciting.
While talking to media, former captain and star all-rounder Shahid Afridi advised the players to win the next two matches instead of thinking about the if-and-if situation.
Shahid Afridi said that all I want from these boys now is whether it rains or not, whatever the situation is, the boys should win us the match against South Africa. He said that Pakistan’s match against South Africa will be a tough match because the opposing team is tough, our players will now show us by performing well against South Africa and then Bangladesh.
The former captain said that if the team wins against Africa, it will be a big win, these two matches are very important for us and our people.
Regarding the World Cup to be held in 2023, Shahid Afridi said that one year after this World Cup, the ODI World Cup management should make a team thoughtfully and make this team 6 months before, then give confidence to the players while Keeping the World Cup venue in mind, the team should be formed along with the coach.
