Sethi Meets PM To Discuss Pak Cricket

Islamabad: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi has met Prime Minister and Patron-in-Chief Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.

According to the sources, the head of the board informed the prime minister about the situation of the Asia Cup and the World Cup, on this occasion Shahbaz Sharif expressed confidence in Najam Sethi and nominated him for the governing board while one more member will also be nominated by the government.

According to the sources, Shahbaz Sharif directed to complete the process of PCB elections soon. One year cricket calendar has been completed which will be announced soon while departmental cricket was also informed.

On the other hand, in connection with the ICC World Cup 2023 scheduled in India, the decision of the Pakistani team to go to India should be made in the light of government instructions.

It should be noted that the announcement of the meeting will be issued soon by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
