Shaheen Ruled Out, Rauf To Make Test Debut

National team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi suffered a knee injury again in the T20 World Cup final.

According to sources, Shaheen Afridi will not be included in the England and New Zealand series Test squad and will undergo scans on his return home. Sources says that Shaheen might not be able able to play cricket for several months now.

On the other hand, sources say that the consultation for the national squad for the Pakistan England Test series will be held this week. On the other hand, fast bowler Haris Rauf will make his debut in the series against England, while fast bowler Mohammad Abbas is also being consulted for joining the Test squad.

Sources say that spinner Abrar Ahmed is also likely to be included in the Test squad, while wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed is unlikely to retain a place in the Test squad.

It should be noted that the series of 3 Test matches between Pakistan and England will start from December 1st, while the first Test between Pakistan and England is scheduled at Rawalpindi Stadium, England’s Test team will arrive in Islamabad on the morning of November 27.
