We Were Not Able To Sleep After Defeats Against India & Zimbabwe – Shan Masood
Pakistan cricket team’s middle order batsman Shan Masood says that not only Zimbabwe, we were also very upset for the defeat against India, but our hope will remain until the last ball of the group is bowled.
While giving a press conference in Adelaide before the match against Bangladesh, Shan Masood said that after the defeat in both the matches, the players had no sleep, the morale went down a little but it is good that the team made a comeback.
He said that they will win the match against Bangladesh and take two points, until the last ball of the group, the hopes will remain.
Shan Masood said that not only Zimbabwe but we are also upset for the defeat by India because we were winning the match against India, we performed very well in both bowling and batting against India, both the matches had a very bad effect on the players.
The national cricketer further said that after the defeat against India and Zimbabwe, the team bounced back in a good way. Defeats are very expensive in the World Cup, because of these defeats, we could not be in the top two positions.
Shan Masood said that the victory against South Africa was very important. We will try to get 2 points in the match against Bangladesh.
He said that he regretted the defeat in both the matches, learned a lot from the mistakes in both the matches, mistakes were also made in the match against South Africa, I am not too happy with my performance, I would have been not out in the match against Zimbabwe and Netherlands.
