WorldCup Schedule Announced

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the official schedule of the Cricket World Cup.

The event will begin on October 5 while the final will be played on November 19. The first match will be between defending champions England and New Zealand in Ahmedabad, India. Pakistan will play the first match on October 6 against Qualifier One in Hyderabad.

On October 15, Pakistan will face India in Ahmedabad.

ICC Men’s ODI Cricket World Cup will be played at ten venues.

It should be noted that the qualifying round for a place in the World Cup has already started, this crucial three-week tournament will decide which teams will be part of the World Cup in India in October and November. Teams from West Indies, Zimbabwe, Netherlands, Nepal and USA have been included in Group A. Group B includes Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and UAE.

It should be noted that the trophy tour of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 scheduled in India this year started in a unique way from space.

The trophy was launched into space at a height of 120,000 feet from the ground, from where the trophy landed at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The ICC World Cup trophy will be taken to various cities in India from today while the trophy will visit Pakistan from July 31 to August 4.
