Lack Of Experience in Cricket Management in India – Shahid Afridi

The former captain of the Pakistan cricket team Shahid Afridi, reacted to the Indian board’s statement of not sending the Indian team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023.

Shahid Afridi tweeted and said that ‘both the teams have shown excellent friendship in the last 12 months, due to the friendly atmosphere of the teams, there was a pleasant situation in the countries as well’.

He said that during the good atmosphere, why did the BCCI secretary make such a statement before the T20 World Cup match? The statement shows the lack of experience in cricket management in India.

It should be noted that Asian Cricket Council President and Indian Cricket Board Secretary Jay Shah has announced that the Indian team will not go to Pakistan in the 2023 Asia Cup.

According to the Indian media, the annual general meeting of the Indian Cricket Board was held in Mumbai today, in which Jay Shah made a statement not to go to Pakistan. Asian Cricket Council President Jay Shah said that next year’s Asia Cup will be held at a neutral venue.

It should be noted that Pakistan has to host the Asia Cup of ODI format in September next year.
