Ahead of the ICCT Twenty World Cup, national cricketer Shan Masood has written a column for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) website.
“We now have a clear idea of what we have to do to win the trophy in Australia,” said batsman Shan Masood.
He said that before coming to Australia we won 7 out of 12 T20 matches in less than a month, in New Zealand we got an opportunity to play in conditions similar to Australia.
He said that there are two warm-up matches before the first match against India in the T20 World Cup. We are together as a group from the series against England. The three-nation series in New Zealand will give us ideal preparation for the World Cup.
“Babar Azam wants to go out to eat”
“Our captain Babar Azam wants to go out to eat, it was my responsibility to find new places, spending time together is a part of the game,” he said.
The national cricketer said that the result and momentum are very important in the World Cup, the focus of our conversation is how we can improve our performance, despite defeating New Zealand in the final, we have come together to improve.

He added that Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are the backbone of the batting line, the entire batting revolves around them, our bowling line-up has increased its importance, Haris Rauf has replaced Shaheen Shah Afridi in his absence.
